Whereas it has been great to have the warm weather this summer, it has definitely created challenges in other many areas of daily life.
When it comes to cooking in the kitchen, outside heat can sure make a difference as to what you want to prepare during the summer. Lots of people take advantage of outdoor barbeques and eating cool meals such as sandwiches and salads. Without air conditioning, cooking inside in this summer heat can be almost unbearable. We know that we’ve struggled to know what to prepare this summer, so we’ve taken the time to find a delicious fruit salad recipe for you to try out – the perfect snack or dessert to make at the end of a hot day without turning on the oven! This recipe is not only colorful and delicious but also a healthy alternative to other desserts, such as cakes or cookies.

- 1 cup plain yogurt
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 orange, juiced
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, cut in half
- 2 clementines or tangerines, sliced
- 1 mango, sliced
- 1 apple, sliced
- 1 banana, sliced
